Covid-19 has still not gone and our actors are giving there best shot at influencing people to stay indoors, maintain social distancing, wearing masks and now, getting vaccinated. People who have the age must get vaccinated and this message is spreading all over by our B-town stars.
Actress Hema Malini took to her Twitter handle a few pictures from Cooper Hospital getting her vaccine dose. She is posing for the people while she gets her first shot. Precautions are always better than cures and this message is coming from our stars. Along with the Dream Girl, Saif Ali Khan, Satish Shah and Kamal Haasan. These big names of Bollywood are giving out a great message with their doings.
Hema Malini is not just an actress but also a well-known face of politics in India. From 2003 to 2009, she served as an MP to the upper house- the Rajya Sabha, having been nominated by the then President of India, Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. In March 2010, Malini was made general secretary of the BJP, and in February 2011, she was recommended by Ananth Kumar, the party general secretary.
Meanwhile, the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive, which began on Monday, March 1 in India, witnessed a good turnout. This phase is for people aged 60 and above, and those in the 45-59 age bracket with comorbidities. Many politicals faces have got vaccinated including the Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi. Amit Shah, S Jaishankar, CM Nitish Kumar, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, and Naveen Patnaik have also taken their first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.
