New Delhi: Amid coronavirus scare, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have taken to social media to urge people to practise social distancing and encourage self-quarantine.
"We know we are all going through a very difficult time," Virat begins the video. Anushka adds, "And the only way to stop the spread of coronavirus by acting together. " Virat further says "We are staying at home for our safety and for everyone else's as well. "
"And you should do it too to prevent the further spread of the virus," Anushka added.
The duo then signed off by saying "Let's make it safe for us and everyone else by self-isolation." Virat said in "Stay home and stay healthy,"

Sharing the video, Anushka wrote, "Stay Home. Stay Safe. Stay Healthy."
Virat had earlier shared a series of tweets in which he asked people to take preventive measures amidst the break.
"Be alert, attentive and aware to combat the threat posed by the Covid 19. We, as responsible citizens, need to adhere to the norms put in place for our safety as announced by our Honourable Prime Minister [email protected] ji. #IndiaFightsCorona," Virat tweeted.
"Also, special mention to all the medical professionals in the country and around the globe for all the efforts being put in to fight the #CoronaVirus. Let's support them by taking care of ourself and everybody around us by maintaining good personal hygiene. #IndiaFightsCorona," He wrote in another tweet.
Meanwhile, Anushka had also taken the trending Handwash Challenge in which she could be seen washing her hands with proper techniques. She rinsed her hands properly and asked to focus on palms particularly. She also urged people to save water and only open the tap when you clean the soap. Wasting water would lead to another emergency which the world is not prepared for, she added.
