New Delhi: Katrina Kaif is one fitness freak and it clearly shows. The actress takes her workout routines seriously and is often spotted outside gyms. The 36-year-old actress has shared a series of videos, in which she and celebrity fitness trainer Yasmin Karachiwala can be seen doing some workout routines which can easily be practised at home and does not require any equipment. Due to the deadly coronavirus outbreak, celebrities are practising social distancing and self-quarantine. The outbreak has also caused the partial shut down in schools, cinemas, malls and gyms.
Sharing the video, Katrina wrote: "Can't go to the gym so sharing the workout that Yas and I did at home. Stay safe and be active if you can." She also shared the steps in which the workout should be followed and wrote: "Squat & Side Leg Lifts - 3 sets x 20 reps. Reverse Lunge - 3 sets x 15 reps. Situp - 3 sets x 20 reps. Pushup - 3 sets x 15 reps (you can substitute with incline pushups or knee pushups. Plank to 'T' - 3 sets x 15 reps. Mountain Climbers - 4 slow and 15 tempo x 3 sets @reebokindia #reebok"
In the videos, Katrina and Yasmin can be seen practising squats, leg raises, sit-ups, planks, and mountain climbers.
Earlier, Katrina had shared a few pictures with her sister and friend Isabella on her Instagram page. Along with the pictures, she also shared a precautionary message and wrote: "...hope everyone is staying safe ... please follow all precautionary safety measures as recommended by the health professionals .... exercise and meditation help your body’s immune system ... keep your environment clean and happy."
Meanwhile, the release of Katrina Kaif's upcoming film Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role, and Simmba Ranveer Singh and Singham Ajay Devgn, has been postponed indefinitely amidst the coronavirus scare.
