New Delhi: After the declaration of West Bengal 10th results, now the 12th results have also been announced. Students of class 12th can check their results on the official website wbresults.nic.in. A total of 8,19,202 students will get their individual scorecards this year.
This year the pass percentage is 97.69 percent. A Muslim girl from Murshidabad district has topped the 12th examination this year by securing 499/500 marks. More than 60% of students i.e. 3,19,327 passed with first division in the higher secondary examination. A total of 9013 students have secured more than 90% marks. 49,370 students have secured more than 80% marks. At least 84,746 students got more than 80% marks in the year 2020.
According to the chairman of the board, "A total of 86 students have occupied the top 10 positions."
The pass percentage is 97.39 percent in the arts stream, in the science stream the pass percentage is 99.28, and in the commerce stream, the pass percentage is 99.8 %.
To calculate the WB 12th result, the board will follow the 40:60 formula. In this, 10th to 40 percent marks will come from the best of four. Along with this, 60 per cent marks will be linked to the class 11 annual examination and class 12 practicals and projects, which took place before the second wave of COVID-19. Students who are not satisfied with their results can also appear in specials. This option is given to the students of both classes 10 and 12.

This year, West Bengal Madhyamik result 2021 recorded a passing percentage of 100 which is the highest so far. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no exams were held this year. Since the exams have been canceled, the merit list is not released this year, and also toppers were not announced. A total of 79 candidates have achieved 697 out of 700 marks, which is the highest score recorded this year.
