Kolkata: The West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2021 has been declared by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE). West Bengal Board 10th Result 2021 was declared by the chairman of the board, Kalyanmoy Ganguly in a press conference at Derozio Bhawan, Kolkata.
After this, the link to check the result was activated on the official website of the board, wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in from 10 am onwards.
This year, West Bengal Madhyamik result 2021 recorded a passing percentage of 100 which is the highest so far. West Bengal's 10th result will be made available on the 12 websites.
A total of 79 candidates have achieved 697 out of 700 marks, which is the highest score recorded this year. Last year, the pass percentage was recorded at 86.34 per cent. A total of 10.79 lakh (10,79,749) students had enrolled for the Madhyamik exam.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no exams were held this year. Since the exams have been canceled, the merit list is not released this year, and also toppers were not announced.
In 2020, a total of 86.34 percent had passed the secondary exam, which is the highest pass percentage ever. A total of 84 secondary candidates had shared the top 10 ranks on the merit list. A total of 10,03,666 students appeared in the exam in 2020 out of which 8,43,305 were successful. The pass percentage of male students was 89.87 per cent while that of female students was 83.48 per cent.
