New Delhi: An important news has been revealed for the students who participated in the Punjab 10th Board Exam 2021 (PSEB 10th Board Exam 2021) and Punjab 12th Board Exam 2021 (PSEB 12th Board Exam 2021) to be conducted by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). In fact, the Punjab Education Board has postponed these examinations.
Due to the increasing cases of the Covid-19 epidemic in the state of Punjab, the board has decided to postpone the examinations of both classes. With this, the Punjab Board has also released the revised schedule for the class 10 and class 12 board examinations.
According to the state education department, now the 10th board exam will be held in Punjab from May 4 to May 24. The 12th board exams will be held from April 20 to May 24. The Class 10 examinations will be held from 10 am to 1:15 pm, while the Class 12 examinations will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. These examinations would be held at the examination centers set up by the Punjab School Education Board, which would be announced at the time of issuance of the roll number.
There are 6.4 lakh students participating in these board examinations conducted by Punjab Board. The date has been put forward for the safety of students in these examinations. Earlier, the Punjab government had also closed all schools in the state in view of Corona. However, the government had assured to take the examinations regularly.
Punjab has reported 1,492 new cases in the last 24 hours, which has taken the tally of active cases in the state close to 11,550. While the total tally of Punjab stands at 1,97,755 and 20 deaths were reported since yesterday from the state. The report further mentioned that the state has reported a sharp rise in weekly cases of 3,149.
