NIFT 2022: Registration ends soon, check steps to apply

New Delhi: The National Institute of Fashion Technology has invited applications for the entrance examination to admission to the BDes, BFTech, MDes, MFTech, and MFM courses at NIFT campuses. Candidates can apply for the examination on the official website of NIFT on nift.ac.in

However, the last date to apply for the examination is January 17, 2022. But students can apply for the examination till January 22 by payment of a late fee (Rs 5000), in case they miss the NIFT exam early registration deadline. 

NIFT application form correction window for the already submitted form will be active from January 18 to January 22.

NIFT entrance examination will be conducted in offline mode on February 6, 2022, in 32 cities across the nation. Students appearing for the NIFT GAT for admission in B.Des will have to solve the questions in 2 hours. However the exam duration for the B.F.Tech GAT is 3 hours.

NIFT Exam: Steps to apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of NIFT on nift.ac.in. 

Step 2: Fill the application form with valid details.

Step 3: Choose the NIFT test centers in the application form. 

Step 4: Upload the required documents and make the payment of the fees.

Step 5: Download the confirmation page for further need.

Eligibility criteria

Students must have passed a class 12 board exam or equivalent from any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Examination.

Candidates appearing for the 10+2 exam or equivalent in 2022 are also eligible for the NIFT 2022 entrance exam.

Age Limit

Candidates belonging to the General Category/ OBC-NCL category must be less than 24 years as of August 1, 2022.

However, candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD categories will get a relaxation of the 5 years upper age limit.
