New Delhi: Acting Vice-Chancellor PC Joshi said, "the registration process for admission to Delhi University will start around July 15 in view of the cancellation of the board exam. Talking to ANI, Joshi has assured all the board students to give equal opportunity to all during the admission process (Delhi University Admission 2021)."
He said, “This year probably most of the boards will not take the exam due to the COVID-19 pandemic and around July 15 we are going to start our registration (Delhi University Admission 2021) at Delhi University. I want to assure all the students that we will give equal opportunities to the students of all the boards of the country.”
"The admission process of Delhi University (Delhi University Admission 2021) is linked to the results of class 12th board examination and many times it has happened that if due to some special circumstances the result of any board is delayed, So DU extends its admission process (Delhi University Admission 2021) for some time," he added.
He further said, “In Delhi University, if you look at the previous years, we give admission to the students on the basis of merit (Delhi University Admission 2021).
This time due to the special circumstances of COVID-19, the Government of India has decided to keep the safety of the students in mind. Class 12th board exams will not be conducted for the students this year and the Delhi University is with the decision of the government as the safety of the students is paramount. Whether it is CBSE or another board, on the basis of marks, students will get admission to Delhi University (Delhi University Admission 2021).
When the conditions become favorable, the Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) examination may be conducted for admission to Central Universities in the future. CUCET is an all-India level entrance exam conducted for admission to central universities.
