New Delhi: Several flights were delayed due to poor visibility caused by the dense fog on Monday morning.
The visibility in the areas surrounding the airport had dropped below 75 Meters.
At least 10 flights got delayed at the IGI Airport in the National Capital due to dense fog, India Today reported.
The thick blanket of fog also affected the rail and road traffic, with over 60 trains getting cancelled in the region.
Reports further suggest that dense fog in Delhi and adjoining areas will continue to affect the visibility. According to the Met department, the weather is likely to remain the same in the coming days.
