New Delhi: Delhi has been put on high alert following inputs from the intelligence agencies warning of a ‘high profile strike’ alleged by Jaish-e-Mohommad (JeM) in the national capital.
According to reports, two JeM terrorists have sneaked into the national capital with an intention of carrying out high profile strikes. A hostage crisis could also be possible.
Additional security forces have been deployed at the airport and the railway station to thwart any possible attack.
The Delhi Police has also been provided with additional companies of the Central Para-Military Forces (CMPF) to guard the vital installations.
Meanwhile, security checks are also being conducted at Agra Cantonment railway station following bomb scare at the New Delhi railway station.
