New Delhi, News24 Bureau, Nov 15: (Updated) In a shocking double murder case today in the national capital a fashion designer and her servant were found murdered. The bodies were found at 3 am. A tailor and two guards have been arrested. According to sources, the tailor has confessed to killing designer Maya Lakhani.Maya Lakhani, 53, ran a boutique in Green Park. Her body, as well as that of her servant, were found early this morning.Maya Lakhani lived in a plush mansion with high walls and gates. The Delhi Police said the servant's name was Bahadur. He was 50.A tailor has confessed that he killed her as she hadn't paid his dues.
"All 3 accused have confessed to their crime. One of accused Rahul Anwar was a tailor at deceased fashion designer's workshop. He committed the crime with two of his relatives in an attempt to loot," informed Joint CP Ajay Chaudhary.
A tailor employed by Lakhani has confessed to killing her. He said she hadn't paid his dues. The duo was stabbed to death and their bodies have been sent for a post-mortem.New revelations are expected and details awaited.
