Deepika's Konkani wedding saree was not by Sabyasachi...Designer corrects himself

New Delhi, Nov 21, News24 Bureau: The wedding of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh was the biggest wedding of 2018. Both of them got married in Italy on November 14-15 in Lake Como. Both of them got married in both Konkani and Sindhi style and shared the pictures of the wedding on social media. Everyone also wants to know about the smallest thing related to their wedding.

On the day of Deepveer's Bangalore reception (November 21), Sabyasachi shared a post on Instagram and disclosed a significant fact of Deepika's Konkani marriage ceremony.

Sabyasachi told that the golden saree of Deepika Padukone which she wore in the Konkani wedding was her mother Ujjala Padukone's gift. She gave Sabyasachi to perform some more work on the saree. Saree was purchased from Angadi Galleria of Bengaluru.

Let's tell you that according to Konkani rituals, the bride's mother gifts the wedding saree to her daughter.

According to the news reports, the newly wedded couple will wear Sabyasachi's composition in the Bangalore Reception. There will be South Indian dishes on the menu. Deepika's mother, Ujjala Padukone has visited the hotel several times to taste the food. 

Deepveer's reception will be at the Leela Palace Hotel. It is worth mentioning that the ceremony of the wedding of Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh was held in Lake Como, Italy on November 14-15.
