Cow meat for Indian cricket team? Australia warned by BCCI

New Delhi, November 1: The BCCI which recently announced team for the upcoming T20 series against West Indies and series against Australia that is scheduled for November 21.

The BCCI has also reportedly requested Cricket Australia not to serve 'beef' from Indian cricket team's menu as the team will be Australia for a two-month long cricket tour starting from November.

A two-member team who visited Australia for an inspection found 'beef' in the menu that would have been served to the Indian players during the two-month long tour. The inspection then team had asked for the inclusion of a clause in the MoU between BCCI and CA about the removal of beef from the menu, a report published in Indian Express said.

Interestingly, in the past when Indian team was on tour of England, BCCI had tweeted the menu during the Test match Lord's which included Braised Beef Pasta. 

This tweet about the menu drew negative reactions from the fans who were angry about the team's performance rather than what the team was eating in the Test series.

The Indian team will play three T20Is, four Tests, and three ODIs in Australia which is scheduled from November 21 to January 18.
