Chhattisgarh Manthan: 'Go to court if you feel there were many scams,' Prem Prakash


New Delhi, Dec 11: In a unique initiative undertaken by News24 an interactive session Manthan Chhattisgarh was organized in Chhattisgarh capital Raipur which witnessed many interactive and thought-provoking sessions. One such session was attended by the leader of Opposition T S Singhdeo and Chhattisgarh s Revenue Minister Prem Prakash Pandey. In was a session of allegations and counter-allegations.

Defending the schemes of the Chhatisgarh government Prem Pakash Pandey said, “I admit that more than 40% people are below the poverty line, but one thing is for sure that we are moving towards development and progress with a good pace.”

Leader of Opposition T S Singhdeo countered by saying, “Chhattisgarh is among the most poor states. The incoming wealth has not been distributed equally, poor got poorer and rich got richer.” But still Singhdeo was lenient  when asked to rank the government’s performance.  "I give them 49 out of 100," said Singhdeo.
