New Delhi (Anish Yande): Realme, the Chinese smartphone maker, has stated a 20% increase in sales during the festive season. In a series of tweets, the smartphone brand announced that it sold 6.3 million smartphones during this festive season. Realme had announced the news in a series of tweets. The growth of the smarphone maker has been attributed to the sucess of the Narzo and Realme 6 and 7 series and the affordable pricing in the mid-range segment.
Studies Indicate Realme's Rapid Growth in the Market:
Studies by analysts indicate that Realme holds the fourth position in the Indian smartphone market. According to reports by analysts, Realme had a 15% market share in the September quarter. Realme grew by 4% in Year-on-Year growth in Q3 2020.
Samsung retained its position at the top with 32% YoY growth. It had a share of 24% of the smartphone market. According to the study, Vivo occupied 16% of the market share while Xiaomi occupied 23%.
Realme Captures Sizeable Market Share:
According to Realme, they have sold 8.3 million new smart devices during this year's festive period. The smartphone maker has claimed that it has become the first company to reach 50 million sales in the fastest amount of time, globally.
8.3 million devices have been recorded as sold from the Realme catalog for 45 days. According to analysts, Shipments of smartphones in India have grown to 9% year-on-year growth.
Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth said that Realme is overwhelmed to observe the adoption of Realme products. They are overwhelmed to achieve growth at a fast pace. Realme offers the most blockbuster products which are high on features, style, and performance and is available across price segments.
The Narzo series had gained significant growth. The Realme 6 and 7 series were reliable sellers for Realme. According to the study, in the mid-tier segment, Realme shipments grew 52% on a Year on Year basis.
