New Delhi (Anish Yande): Gold rates on Wednesday were recorded at Rs 44,970 per 10 grams. In the previous sessions, gold had closed at prices of Rs 47,061 per 10 gram. Silver rates were recorded at Rs 67,810 per kilogram at a decrease from Rs 67,923 per kilogram in the previous trade.
Gold and silver prices on MCX:
On the Multi Commodity Exchanges, gold futures for June were trading at Rs 47,216 per 10 grams. The gold futures fell by Rs 170 from the previous close.
Silver on the Multi Commodity Exchange was recorded at Rs 68,193 per kilogram. The prices of silver rose to Rs 68,780 on the MCX as compared to the previous close of Rs 68,324 per kg.
In international markets, spot gold was trading at $1,768.04 per ounce, at a decrease of 0.19 percent. Spot gold was trading at $1,789.77 per ounce earlier in the week.
Spot silver was trading at $25.85 per ounce, at an increase of 0.07 percent. The rupee rose by 23 paise to 74.64 against the US dollar in Tuesday's opening trade

Silver prices in India rose to Rs 68,800 per kg, at an increase of Rs 200. The silver prices in cities such as Surat, Nashik, Patna, Nagpur, and Chandigarh were recorded at Rs 68,800 per kg. In cities such as Chennai, Bhubaneshwar and Vishakapatnam were recorded at Rs 73,900 per kg.
The prices for gold in Delhi in 22-carat gold for 10 grams are recorded at Rs 46,290. In the national capital, the gold prices of 24-carat gold for 10 grams are stated at Rs 50,510.
In Mumbai and Pune, 22-carat gold in 10 grams costs Rs 44,970. The prices for 10 grams in 24-carat gold rose to Rs 45,970 in the cities.
In Bhubaneshwar, Vishakapatnam, and Mangalore, the prices of 10 grams for 22 carats of gold are stated at Rs 44,850. In these cities, the rate for 24 carats of gold in 10 grams is stated at Rs 48,930.
