New Delhi (Anish Yande): Prices of gold and silver continued to decline on Thursday and Friday. On Thursday, the gold prices closed at Rs 46,439 per 10 grams and silver prices closed at Rs 68,700 per kilogram.
The spot prices of Gold were around Rs 48,000 per 10 gram in Delhi, at a decrease of Rs 500. On the Multi Commodity Exchanges, the gold futures for April were recorded at Rs 46145, a decrease of Rs 92. Silver futures for March on the MCX decreased to Rs 68,479, a decrease of Rs 750.
In international markets, Gold prices traded at USD 1,781.10 per ounce, an increase of 0.47 percent. The international spot price of Gold was USD 1,769.
Prices of Gold and Silver rates:
The prices for 22-carat gold in 10 grams in India were recorded at Rs 45,690. The price for 24-carat gold in 10 grams in India was started at Rs 46,690.
Silver prices in India were recorded at Rs 67,700 per kg, at a decrease of Rs 1,300. The silver prices in cities such as Patna, Nagpur, Surat, Nashik, and Chandigarh were recorded at Rs 67,700 per kg. In cities such as Chennai, Bhubaneshwar and Vishakapatnam were recorded at Rs 72,300 per kg.
The prices for gold in Delhi in 22-carat gold for 10 grams are recorded at Rs 45,540. In the national capital, the gold prices of 24-carat gold for 10 grams are stated at Rs 49,680.
In Mumbai and Pune, 22-carat gold in 10 grams costs Rs 45,690. The prices for 10 grams in 24-carat gold rose to Rs 46,690 in the cities.
In Vishakapatnam, Mangalore, Bhubaneshwar, the prices of 10 grams for 22 carats of gold are stated at Rs 43,000. In these cities, the rate for 24 carats of gold in 10 grams is stated at Rs 46,900.
