Mahindra and Mahindra has launched a new avatar Neo of Bolero two months back. Actually this car is an updated version of the company's own compact SUV TUV300 SUV.
Looking at the looks of Mahindra Bolero Neo, it can be understood that this car has been introduced in place of the company's SUV TUV 300. Let us tell you that Bolero has completed 20 years in India. Therefore, there was a demand for changes in this car from the customers.
On the other hand, TUV 300 was not available in the market for the last one and a half years. Experts believe that due to the use of TUV 300 by the police and other service departments in many states, this car was not available to the general customers.
Apart from this, when the TUV 300 was launched in 2015. Even then this car was seen only as an urban model of Bolero. Now once again the company has launched the Bolero in the same style as the TUV 300, giving an urban touch.
The company has issued a statement about the new Bolero, saying that this car has been built on the same classic 3G platform, on which the company's other SUVs, such as Scorpio, Thar and TUV were built with Mahindra mHawk engine.
Mahindra Bolero Neo has been launched with 2-wheel drive. To deal with the lack of traction while driving, the Bolero has for the first time been given a limited-slip differential, which Mahindra has named Multi-Terrain Technology. Apart from these, the Bolero Neo gets the usual Bolero side cladding, square hooded headlamps and rectangular shaped wheel arches.
Mahindra has also done a great job on the interior of the Bolero Neo. Due to this, this car gives a premium car feel when you look inside. Also, this new car has not left any gap in terms of connectivity and infotainment.
In terms of features, Mahindra Bolero Neo gets Driver Information System, Voice Messaging System, Blue Sense Mobile App, Follow Me Home headlamps, Static Banding headlamps, Eco Mode with Powerful AC, 17.8cm modern touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control and Intellipark. Reverse assist is provided.
Bolero Neo has also been equipped with many features in terms of safety. Features such as cornering brake control, ISOFIX child seats, digital immobilizer, seatbelt reminder, automatic door locks, two airbags on the front seats, strong steel body and ABS with EBD have been provided in this car.
The ex-showroom price of the N4 variant of Bolero Neo has been fixed at Rs 8.48 lakh which goes up to Rs 9.99 lakh for the N10 variant.
