New Delhi: There seems to be a mad rush among telecom operators to counter Reliance Jio in a bid to retain and increase the users base. The latest offer comes from Airtel, which had indicated that most telecom companies will come out with attractive offers to take away Jio users after March 31.
After Idea and Vodafone, Airtel too has announced a new plan, media reporst say. In Rs 349 per month, the new offer gives 1GB 4G data per day, coupled with unlimited voice calls to any operator.
However, there is a catch. Of the 1GB daily data cap, only 500MB is available during the day, while the balance can only be used during 3am and 5 am.
Earlier, Airtel was giving only 1GB of 4G data along with unlimited local/STD calls to all operators for Rs 345 per month. Airtel is also giving unlimited Airtel to Airtel calls along with 2GB of 4G data for Rs 149. The plan has a 28-day validity.
