Update: 3 minor civilians dead, 8 injured after ceasefire violation by Pakistan

Aasif Suhaf, New Delhi, Oct 2 : According to latest updates three civilians dead (all minors), 8 injured after ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Jammu Kashmir's Poonch.

In a most barbaious and cowardly bact of Pakistan, a 10-year-old boy has been killed and 5 civilians have been injured during ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Kerni & Digwar sectors of Poonch in J&K.

In a major development  security forces foil infiltration bid in J&K's Keran sector, search operation continues. More details are awaited.

There has been a ceasefire violation at LOC Poonch, Civilian (minor) Killed, three injured in Shahpur Sector Qasba, heavy firing going on.

It was an unfortunate that the start of 2nd October witnessed a violent start. Indian and Pakistan troops traded heavy fire on Monday on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. It targeted innocent civilians.

Ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Keri and Digwar areas of Poonch district (J&K), three civilians injured.

Police sources said heavy shelling and firing started between the two armies in Kerni area.

"After the Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked shelling and firing at Indian positions, Indian military retaliated strongly and effectively.

"Shelling and firing exchanges are going on," the sources added.
