Breaking: Terrorists attack army camp in Kupwara, 3 armymen killed

New Delhi: In a massive suicide attack two soldiers killed in Kashmir. Terrorist attack was on an Army camp in Kupwara's Panzgam. There is a heavy gunway underway in Kupwara. The attack has happened on army camp.Two heavily armed terrorists have attacked army's artillery camp in Kupwara district.

Initial reports suggest that three army men are martyred. More details are awaited. Terrorists have been neutralised. 

According to agencies, three Army personnel lost their lives in Kupwara attack and two terrorists killed. Search operation on. Stay tuned to be updated.

Five including three soldiers and two militants were killed while another five soldiers were injured in Thursday's fidayeen (suicide) attack on an army camp in Kashmir's Kupwara district.

"Fidayeen terrorists attacked the Panzgam army camp in north Kashmir close to the Line of Control (LoC) around 4.30 a.m.," Defence Ministry Spokesman, Colonel Rajesh Kalia told IANS.

"The three soldiers killed, included a captain and a non-commissioned officer (NGO)," the spokesman added.

The five injured in the attack in Jammu and Kashmir have been airlifted to Srinagar for treatment, defence sources said.

Searches were going on inside the camp to ascertain whether or not the militants managed to sneak into the camp.
