New Delhi, October 12: Xiaomi's Black Shark gaming smartphone, or its successor, appears set to launch internationally soon. Xiaomi-backed brand Black Shark had launched its first gaming smartphone in China earlier this year to take on rivals like the Razer Phone. While Razer recently unveiled its second-generation flagship, Xiaomi seems ready for a global launch of the Black Shark. Recently, a successor to the Black Shark was certified in China, suggesting that an upgraded variant is coming.
Xiaomi Black Shark specifications
The Xiaomi Black Shark features a 5.99-inch full-HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with Adreno 630 GPU paired with 6GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage variant or 8GB+128GB variant. The smartphone sports a dual camera setup at the back with a 20-megapixel sensor and a 12-megapixel sensor with LED flash. For better selfies, the Black Shark has a 20-megapixel front camera.
The Xiaomi Black Shark phone comes with Quick Charge 3.0 support and backed by a 4000mAh battery.
Before the launch of Black Shark, the company also announced a controller dock for the gaming smartphone. This controller will come with a joystick and a trigger button that can be connected to the handset. Priced at CNY 179 which roughly calculates Rs. 1,900.
