Baahubali 2 broke these many records even before its release

New Delhi: We may or may not know why Katappa killed Baahubali, but one thing that everyone knows is that Baahubaali 2 will break all box-office records or at least will dare to. But don’t be shocked when we tell you that even before its release Baahubali: The Conclusion, S S Rajamouli’s epic war drama, has already made many records. We bring you the list of records made by the much-awaited magnum opus on screens today:

1. Baahubali 2 will release in 9,000 screens across India. Though it is being released in many languages. Last record was of a film getting released in 4500 screens

2. Baahubali 2 has already earned 500 crores, even before its release. It will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu version and the distributors have loosened their purse strings liberally. The Hindi version has fetched 120 crore, Tamil version 45 crore, Karnataka 45 crore, Kerala 10 crore. North America rights for 45 crore. Satellite rights figures are also record breaking, reportedly 51 crore and the original Telugu version at 26 crore. The US Rights figures are not yet disclosed.

3. The trailer has got a record 50 million views on YouTube in just 24 hours. In recent records it has beaten Rajnikanth’s Kabaali, Shahrukh Khan’s Raees and Aamir Khan’s Dangal records.

4. The ticket prices are also the highest ever. If you want to watch the film in a luxurious manner in Delhi then you have to shell out Rs 2,500, the highest ever. The earlier record was of Ay Dil Hai Mushkil which sold at 2200. And reports are pouring that tickets in Hyderabad are being sold at Rs 5000.
