New Delhi, Nov 21, News24 Bureau: Ayushmann Khurrana's film 'Badhaai Ho' has entered the fifth week of its release but the earnings are still in progress. The film 'Thugs of Hindostan', which was released on Diwali, has collapsed at the box office, and 32 days later 'Badhaai Ho' remains firm on the box office.
In its fifth week, the film collected 95 lakh on Friday, 1.60 crores on Saturday, 2.15 crores on Sunday, 70 lakh on Monday and 8 million on Tuesday.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, 'Badhaai Ho' has so far earned 158.25 crores at the domestic box office. On the other hand, in the worldwide collection, the film has joined 200 crore club.
The film has so far reached 201.97 crores, which is far more than the budget of the film. Badhaai Ho's unbeatable story and the work of Ayushmann Khurrana and on-screen mother Neena Gupta acting was very much liked in the film.
The film was released on October 18 and earned 7.29 crores on an opening day, 11.67 crores on Friday, 12.60 crores on Saturday. The film made a collection of Rs 45.06 crore on its first weekend. The second week, the film earned Rs 28.15 crores.
