New Delhi: Tata Motors has launched the Dark Edition of its popular iconic SUV Tata Safari. There have been reports about this edition for quite some time and now finally the company has launched it. Tata has launched dark editions of several models in the past as well.
How much is the price?
Tata Safari Dark Edition has been launched by the company with a price tag of Rs 19.05 lakh. Safari Dark Edition has been launched in XT+, XTA+, XZ+ and XZA+ Trims. Some cosmetic changes have been made in the car. There is no change in the car mechanically.
The car is competing in the Indian market with other popular SUVs and MPVs including Mahindra XUV700 MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar and Maruti XL6.

Engine
With 6 and 7 seater options, the SUV is fitted with a diesel engine of up to cc 1956, which can generate up to 167.62 bhp of power.
Mileage
Tata Safari is in both manual and automatic transmission options. Tata Safaris offers mileage of up to kmpl 16.14 as claimed by the company.
Colour Options
The Dark Edition is available in 7 colour options, White Gold, Black Gold, Orcus White, Daytona Grey, Tropical Mist, Tropocal Mist Adventure and Royal Blue.
