Maruti Suzuki's upcoming midsize SUV Maruti Vitara will be developed by a joint effort of Maruti Suzuki and Toyota and this SUV will be based on the TNGA-B platform. The parts of Maruti Vitara will be similar to that of the upcoming Toyota Highrider. Maruti Vitara can be sold at Nexa dealerships and if media reports are to be believed, it can replace the company's existing midsize SUV S-Cross. This SUV will be offered with an all wheel drive system. After talking about the rest of its engine and power, then it will have two engine options of 1.5 liter petrol, which will be equipped with mild and strong hybrid system. 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter automatic and e-CVT gearbox can be seen in this SUV.

Talking about the expected look and features of Maruti Suzuki Vitara, many exterior features including the company's signature grille, split headlamps, LED DRLs, air dam and fog lamps in the bumper as well as multi-spoke alloy wheels are being seen.
