New Delhi: Hyundai Casper SUV India Launch: Hyundai Motor India recently launched the facelifted model of its compact SUV, which is equipped with the latest features along with a lot of cosmetic changes. In the coming times, it will also launch a facelifted version of its best-selling Suzuki Creta. Along with all this, Hyundai can also launch a micro SUV Casper in the next few months, which will compete with cars like Tata Punch and Maruti Ignis as well as the upcoming Citroen C3. The upcoming micro SUV Hyundai Casper will be 3,595mm long, 1,595mm wide and 1,575mm high. The Casper will be developed on the K1 compact car platform and will be heavily inspired by the Hyundai Venue. Talking about Casper's engine and power, it will get a 1.1 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will be able to generate power of up to 69 PS. At the same time, the 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine will be able to generate power up to 82bhp. Hyundai Casper can be offered with 5-speed manual and automatic transmission options.
Look-Design and Features
Talking about the look and features of Hyundai's upcoming micro SUV Casper, it will get a single slate grille at the front, round shape headlamps as well as LED DRLs and LED rings in the lower bumper. The Casper gets a more aggressive bumper, silver finish skid plate and wide air dam.
The Hyundai Casper will get dual tone roof tails, squarish wheel arches, multi-spoke alloy wheels as well as black plastic cladding. On the other hand, in terms of features, it will get dual tone interior, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play support, multifunctional steering wheel, adjustable hand rest, connected car technology, reverse parking camera, dual airbags and many standards including keyless entry.
