New Delhi, Dec 3, News24 Bureau: India Vs Australia Test series will start from 6 December. Here's a look at five big scores in the matches played between India and Australia on Australian field for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, ahead of the series.

Rahul Dravid: 233 in Adelaide (2003) 

Also Known as The wall of Indian cricket Rahul Dravid made 233 runs in 2003 at the Adelaide Oval which led to the victory of the Indian team against Australia. Following this Dravid made unbeaten 72 as India won the match with the loss of four wickets. It was also India's first in Australia since their victory in 1980-81 at Melbourne.

Sachin Tendulkar: 241* in Sydney (2004) 

This will be always one of the most remembered innings of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin made a huge total unbeaten 241 from 436 balls by 33 fours in the last test of the series at Sydney Cricket Ground. India made a wall of 705 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the first inning.

V.V.S. Laxman: 178 and 167 in Sydney

Indian middle-order batsman V.V.S. Laxman scored a huge total of 178 runs in 2004 and 167 runs in 2000 against Australian team at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney.

Ricky Ponting: 242 in Adelaide and 257 in Melbourne 

In December 2003 'Cricketer of the decade, 2000' Ricky Ponting made 242 runs in the first inning at the Adelaide Oval. The second grand score of Ponting was punched in the Boxing Day Test in Sydney. The cricketer made 257 runs ensuring a nine-wicket victory of Australia team.

Michael Clarke: 329* in Sydney (2012)

In January 2012 right-hand batsman made a huge total of 329 runs in the New Year Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Clarke's huge score consisted of 39 fours and a six collecting a grand total of 659/4 on the third day. Australian team won the match by 68 runs and an inning after the Indian team were dismissed for 400.
