Mumbai: Bombay High court grants bail to Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur in Malegaon blast case. The court pronounced its judgment for Sadhvi Pragya who is the prime accused in 2008 Malegaon bomb blast case. She got the bail nearly nine years after her arrest. National Investigation Agency had granted a 'clean chit' to her in May 2016.
Earlier in February, the court had reserved its order on the bail petition filed by Purohit. The duo had moved the High Court after a special court, which hears terror cases probed by the National Investigation Agency, quashed their bail pleas.

Pragya Singh Thakur will also furnish Rs 5 lakh bail amount,2 sureties of the same amount and will also submit passport to NIA and appear on dates in trial court. These are the conditions. Six persons were killed in the blast in Malegaon, a Muslim-dominated powerloom town in Nashik district in September 2008.
