Asia Cup:India beat champions Japan in SF, will meet China in final

New Delhi, Nov 3: The Indian women's hockey team stormed in to the finals of the Asia Cup beating hosts and defending Japan 4-2 in the semi finals. In the finals, India will meet China on Sunday, a replay of the 2009 summit clash.

For India, goals were scored by Gurjit Kaur (7th, 9th minutes), Navjot Kaur (9th minute) and Lalremsiami (38th minute). This will be India's fourth Asia Cup final.  Indian eves had won the Asia Cup in 2004 and were runners-up in 1999 and 2009.

In a league match, India had beaten China 4-1 few days ago.
