New Delhi, News24 Bureau, Jan 21: Once upon a time Aishwarya Rai's sis-in-law Shweta Nanda Bachchan had a crush on Salman Khan and this has been revealed by none other than Amitabh Bachchan's darling daughter herself. Karan Johar's Koffee with Karan spills many beans and this one is yet another revelation which may not be music to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. When Karan, a known prankster that he is, poked Shweta and asked about her crush, pat came the reply: Salman Khan. To this brother, Abhishek Bachchan objected and said that not Salman Khan but Aamir Khan has been her crush and said that Aamir Khan wrote a special letter to her on her birthdays always.Salman Khan was the first crush of Shweta Bachchan and the main credit goes to Salman's film, Maine Pyar Kiya. It remains to be seen how does Aishwarya Rai Bachchan take this episode. This is an open secret that Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai were once rumoured to be a couple and the duo had parted ways after differences.
Aishwarya would be the last person who would like her family to talk about Salman Khan in public or on national television. Many secrets were revealed on the show and the siblings spoke candidly on all questions hurled towards them.Abhishek, known for his candid comments did not shy away from speaking on anything, not about his not-too-great career."To call a spade a spade, I was part of huge films, huge budgets, huge stars, huge collections, everything was hunky dory. I had no pressure on me because I was standing behind somebody else who takes all the pressure. I was making lots of money and so were those films. It became very easy. I didn't come to industry to stand behind anyone," said Abhishek further adding, "It's tricky Karan. I don't think it was the pressure of what was happening. Rather it was more about my approach towards my work which I thought was incorrect. I was becoming very complacent and comfortable."
"It is heart-breaking to any actor who has been centre stage to be shadowed by another actor in the lead. The industry is a brutal place. I don't think anyone is entitled to say that I am who I am so I deserve this. No, you have to earn it. Moving from centre to left is heart-breaking but you have to use that hurt to inspire yourself to get back into the centre again," said Abhishek as a matter of fact. It was also learnt that while Shweta is a father's daughter, Abhishek is a mama's boy and Jaya Bachchan, otherwise known to be a strict person, melts before her son.
