Bollywood hearthrob Salman Khan and his family have been celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi religiously at his Galaxy Apartment home for the last 14 years. But not this year.
Yes, this is true. Ganpati will not visit Salman's home this year after a span of 14 years.
This year the address of celebrations has changed. Ganesh Chatuthi will be celebrated at Salman younger sister Arpita Khan Sharma's house instead of Galaxy Apartment. This has happened after a span of 14 years.
According to sources, with the advice of Salman's father Salim, the family asked Arpita to keep the Ganpati at her house. This is because she will be present throughout, and Salman has to be out for shooting for the rest of the time for Tiger Zinda Hai in UAE. It’s therefore still unclear if one idol will be present at Galaxy Apartments too as well.
Generally Salman bhai has Ganpati in his house for three days. We’re not sure how long Arpita will have it at her home. But it will be for three days, and Salman will plan when to come and when to fly back for his shoot. It’s an important juncture of his career, and he wants to do well after Tubelight has not met the expectations. He’d have cancelled his shoots and been in Mumbai any other time, but he cannot do that now, added another source.
