Aamir, Salman & Kashmiri KBC to promote nationalism in Kashmir

New Delhi: The Centre Govt has taken a big initiative to promote Kashmiri culture among Kashmiris, for this Govt has decided to revamp DD Kashir, Doordarshan’s 24x7 satellite channel, which is the only channel that reaches all parts of the state.

The Govt has also scheduled some movies like Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal and Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan that will be aired on the channel this month to speed happiness and nationalism among the masses. Both the movies are widely appreciated for their message of nationalism and love for India.

Apart from this Govt has also allotted Rs 40 crore to revamp DD Kashir which will also air new shows like Kashmiri Kaun Banega Crorepati and a singing reality show.

The publicity of the channel begins with home minister Rajnath Singh’s visiting the state.

With all this Govt is attempting to present entertainment with a good message to the people of the valley.

And it will start with 52 episodes of top 10 songs Show that is planned. Govt has also dedicated Rs 18 crore for Kashmiri KBC that is scheduled to start in December. Apart from this Govt has allocated Rs 9 crore for a singing reality talent hunt show since music plays an important part of Kashmiri culture.

Earlier DD Kashir was launched to promote Kashmiri culture and counter Pakistani propaganda but the channel hasn't done much for the same in past many years so the Govt has taken this major step for Kashmiri Youth
