New Delhi, July 17: In a barbaric and a heinous act, nine, including 3 women, gunned down in Uttar Pradesh's Sonbhadra. Besides this 19 have been injured in clash over land dispute in UP's Sonebhadra district, say police.
Casualties were reported after firing between two groups started over a land dispute in Ghorawal today. District Magistrate Ankit Kumar Agarwal says, "We can't tell exact numbers as of now. Nine persons brought to District Hospital. Some are injured and some are dead."
CM Yogi Adityanath takes cognisance of the incident in Sonbhadra and expressed condolences to the family of the deceased. The CM directed DM to provide immediate medical attention to the injured. He also directed DGP to personally monitor the case and ensure effective action. More details are awaited:
