New Delhi: Fresh tremors of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale were felt in Manipur at 9:38 am today.
National Crisis Management Committee meeting is underway to assess the situation after the earthquake.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh while briefing the media on Monday said that he was monitoring the situation and the Centre would provide complete support to the affected area.
“I am trying to contact people and am monitoring the situation. The Central Government will provide complete support and aid to all the affected areas," he said.
Meanwhile, death toll in Imphal has risen to six.
Also, two NDRF teams comprising of 90 members have been rushed to Imphal to aid the rescue operation.
