New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a post on Twitter applauded Karan Johar for his bold statement on “intolerance” in the country.
“Karan Johar right. Only one person in this country can publicly talk abt his mann ki baat. No one else can do that,” Delhi CM tweeted.
While conversing with author Shobaa De at the 9th edition of Jaipur Literary Fest, Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar said that, “We are in a tough country and to speak about one's personal life in today's time can land you in jail.”
"Freedom of expression is the biggest joke in the world... Democracy is the second biggest joke I think,” he added.
