New Delhi: Washington has asked Pakistan to speed up probe in the Pathankot terror attack, Senior US administration official revealed on Saturday.
According to TOI, Senior US administration official said on Friday that Washington expected Pakistan to act fast against perpetrators of the attack.
"They said that they (Pakistan) would investigate it and we need to let that process go forward. But obviously we want to see that the perpetrators be brought to account (as soon as possible)," an unnamed Senior State Department official who selectively briefed PTI was quoted as saying. The statement comes as India on Thursday said it was awaiting Pakistan’s response on the information provided on the Pathankot incident, following which it will decide on the resumption of bilateral talks scheduled for later this month.
