Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's marriage, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's dreamy wedding are considered to be the most expensive weddings of the tinsel town. 

Here we have listed a few weddings which are said to be the most expensive weddings in the tinsel town. 

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan- Abhishek Bachchan:

It is said that Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan fell in love on the sets of their film Guru in 2007. They later decided to get married and their wedding turned out to be the most expensive weddings in the tinsel town. Aish and Abhi are said to be the golden couple of the tinsel town and their marriage was like a national event and everyone was eager to participate in the grand wedding event. But it is said that as Big B's mother Teji Bachchan was not well at that time, the megastar decided to keep the event a low key affair and only his close friends and family members were invited in Aishwarya and Abhishek's wedding. For her wedding ceremony, Aishwarya wore her favourite fashion designer Neeta Lulla's designed sari, and the cost of it is said to be Rs 75 lakh. 

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan: 

It is said that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor fell in love on the sets of their film Tashan in 2008. Later, the couple got married in court. Saif's mother and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore hosted a grand dawat-e-walima for the couple and it is said that former President Pranab Mukherjee was invited for the dawat-e-walima. The total expense of Saif and Kareena's wedding is estimated to be Rs 10 crores. 

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli: 

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli got married in a secret wedding ceremony in Tuscany. It is said that the total wedding costs of their wedding was around Rs 100 crores.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in Italy in a lavish wedding ceremony. After their wedding, the couple also hosted two grand wedding receptions and the total cost of their wedding is said to be around Rs 90-100 crores.
