New Delhi, May 3: Death toll in Rajasthan dust storm rises to 22, more than 100 people have been injured. Several electricity poles and trees uprooted. Life is limping back to normalcy after the big disaster.
Normal life seems out of gear as houses collapsed, electricity poles and trees were uprooted as the severe dust storm swept the Matysya region."Till 3 am, 15 people died due to the disaster, including 8 in Bharatpur, 3 each in Dholpur and Alwar and one in Jhunjhunu. The toll is likely to rise," Secretary, Disaster Management and Relief, Hemant Kumar Gera told PTI.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has expressed grief and instructed the authorities to to their best and provide immediate relief to the victims and kith and kin. "Condolence for families who lost their loved ones," she said on Twitter.
