World Wildlife Day 2023: Every year on March 3, people around the world celebrate World Wildlife Day to raise awareness of the various animals and plants that inhabit the planet. The United Nations General Assembly established this day in 2013 to mark the adoption of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) in 1973.
