Watermelon Peel Curry: Ingredients
Mustard oil 5 tbsp,
Asafoetida, half a teaspoon
dry red chili 3,
Mustard seeds 1 tsp,
Saunf 2 tsp,
Cumin 1 tsp,
Kalonji half teaspoon,
Ginger 1 tsp (chopped),
Garlic 1 tsp (chopped),
Onion 1 (chopped),
Green chilies 3 (chopped),
salt as per taste,
turmeric half teaspoon,
Red chili powder 1 tsp,
Coriander powder 1 tbsp,
Watermelon rind 3 cups,
Dry mango powder 1 tsp,
Kasuri fenugreek leaves 1 tsp,
coriander leaves 1 tsp
Recipe
- To make watermelon rind vegetable, first you have to take watermelon rinds. After this, chop them finely or in small pieces.
- After this, take a pan and add 5 tablespoons of mustard oil to it and let it heat up. After this, add dry red chili, half a teaspoon of asafoetida and temper it.
- After this add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and when they start crackling, add chopped onions to it. After this, fry it and then add ginger and a spoonful of garlic paste to it.
- Then let it cook and then add turmeric, one teaspoon red chili powder and one teaspoon coriander powder to it. After this, mix it well and let it cook.
- Then add 1 teaspoon fenugreek leaves, 1 teaspoon chopped coriander and chaat masala and mix it well and let it cook. When they are cooked, turn off the gas. After this, your watermelon rind curry is ready, you can serve it with roti.
