Lemon Pickle Recipe: Everyone must have tasted the taste of pickle. For some, it will be a delicacy and for some, it will be one of the common choices. It is fun to eat dal-rice, paratha or roti etc. with pickles. Most people make pickles in summer, while some like to make pickles in winter.

Homemade pickles are tastier than market ones. No matter what season the pickle is put in, if it is made at home with the help of spices put by own hands, then there is no break in it. Here is an easy recipe for making pickles which can adopt even in the winter season. Check out the recipe and ingredients. 

Lemon Pickle: Ingredients

  • 500 grams lemon
  • 1 tsp asafoetida
  • 1 cup whole red chillies
  • One teaspoon of mustard oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste


To make a lemon pickle, first, wash 500 grams of lemon. After this, keep the lemon dry. Now, rub them on the cobweb. After this, cut all the lemons into 2 or 4 parts and divide the lemon into four parts by cutting it in the middle.

After doing this, take a big bowl and put a lemon cut into 2 or 4 parts in it. Now, add 1 cup whole red chillies, one teaspoon asafoetida, one teaspoon mustard oil, one teaspoon black pepper powder and salt as per taste and mix well. Now dry it by keeping it in the sun for a few days. It can also be kept in a glass container. In this way, pickles will be ready.
