Vegetable Khichdi Recipe: Ingredients
1 cup rice, 2 tbsp ghee, 1/2 cup moong dal, 1/2 cup french beans chopped, 1 tsp cumin, 1 cup cauliflower florets, 1/2 cup carrot chopped, a pinch of asafoetida, 1 cup peas, 4 cup water, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, salt – as per your taste
Method
To make Vegetable Khichdi, you must first wash the rice and pulses thoroughly with clean water. After this, put ghee in a pan and heat it. After that add cumin and asafoetida and mix it.
After this, add lentils and vegetables to it and keep roasting while stirring with a spoon for 2-3 minutes. After this mix rice and turmeric and stir it continuously for 2 minutes and let it cook.
