Vegetable Appe Recipe: Ingredients
- Rava
- Curd
- Rye
- Onion
- Carrot
- Tomato
- Green chilly
- Green coriander
- Baking soda
- Capsicum
- Oil as required
- Salt to taste

Recipe:
- First of all, finely chopped tomato, onion, capsicum, green chilli and coriander. After this, grate the carrots as well. After this, put rava in a mixing bowl, and add curd and chopped vegetables as well.
- Now mix them well. Add enough water to it to make a thick batter. Now leave it for about 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes add baking soda to the thick solution and mix. Now take the appe pot. Grease it by applying little oil on top. After this, put some mustard seeds in it and then add the appe batter as well.
- Now keep it on low flame to cook. Flip and cook it from both sides. Cover and cook it again for 2 to 3 minutes.
- For perfectly cooked vegetable appe, you have to cook them till it turns golden brown on both sides. When it looks crispy with being golden, then understand that it is cooked. After this turn off the gas.
- Prepare all the appes with this process. You can eat it in the morning or evening snack. It can be served with chutney. If you want, you can consume it with sambar as well.
