Veg Kabab Paratha Recipe: Lucknow is the city of Nawabs. And think of Kababs and veg Kabab Paratha, the city serves best of them. Each dish has a distinct taste that leaves you licking your fingers. But people of Lucknow are also fond of Veg Kabab Paratha and today we will tell you about an easy recipe of Kabab-Paratha which you can easily make and eat and you can also give Lucknowi taste to the guests at home.

Ingredients for Kebab

Chana Dal – 2 cups Onion – 1 finely chopped Ginger - 1 tsp paste Garlic - 1 tsp paste Cardamom - 2 Big cardamom - 1 Black pepper - 4 grains Cinnamon - 1 piece salt - as per taste Cloves - 2 Whole Coriander - 1 tbsp Red chili - 2 whole Cumin - 1 tsp Gram flour – 3 tbsp Refined oil - cup

Ingredients for Paratha

Flour - 2 bowls Baking soda - 2 pinches curd cup Refined oil - 2 tbsp salt - as per taste

Method of making Veg Kebab-

First of all, you have to take a cooker and put gram dal in it. Then put big cardamom, cinnamon, cloves in it and blow it for 4 whistles. This process has to be done on low flame. When the steam of the cooker is over, take out cardamom, cinnamon and cloves from the lentils and keep them aside and then grind the lentils in a mixer. After this, dry roast coriander, red chili, black pepper and cumin and grind them. Add this spice to the ground lentils and mix well. After this, make tikkis and roast them on a griddle and when the kebabs are cooked, then fry them.

Paratha Recipe

To make Paratha, you have to take all the things mentioned above. Then add salt, curd, baking soda and refined oil to the flour and knead the dough, then keep the dough for half an hour. When half an hour is over, take a pan and keep it on the gas by inverting it. Keep the gas low and roll out thin parathas by taking a dough ball and then roast the parathas by applying refined oil on the pan. On the other hand, when your parathas are fried, then you can enjoy eating kababs with green chutney and onions.
