Soya Tikka Recipe: Now, it’s a good time to make some changes to your winter diet. Maybe replace all cold things with warm and comforting foods and make a slight change in your diet.

It can be made with only a few ingredients and is full of Punjabi flavour. You can also serve these as a starter for your next get-together.

Soya Tikka recipe: Ingredients

  • 200 grams soya chunks
  • 2 small onions (cubed)
  • 1 green capsicum (cubed)
  • 1 cup hung curd
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp chaat masala salt to taste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp tandoori masala
  • 2-3 green chillies (chopped)
  • Oil (for frying)

Recipe: 

1. First of all you have to boil the soya chunks for at least 5-6 minutes. Once they are done, drain all the water out of them. Keep aside.

2. The next step is to marinate these soya chunks. For the marinade, take a small mixing bowl, add red chilli powder, black pepper powder, ginger garlic paste, salt and a little curd to coat well.

3. Now, put the soya chunks in the marinade bowl and keep it aside for a few minutes.

4. Take a wooden skewer, add two soya chunks and then add one onion cube, two soya chunks and one capsicum. Repeat it.

5. Heat oil in a grill pan, place the skewers and let the soya chunks cook. Make sure you cook it well from all sides.

6. Once done, take it out, sprinkle some chaat masala and enjoy!
