Slap Day 2023: Everybody enjoys courtroom drama in Indian films. Do we not? Bollywood has educated us through the years with various dramatic situations that included zor ka thappad jinki goonj aaj tak sunayi deti hai. Chahein baap-bete ki takrar ho ya do dost ki ladai. While most of these scenes were amusing, there was a handful that (again, I’m coming to this) we wished had never happened.
However, the entire theatre is affected whenever there is a dramatic scene, especially one that ends with a slap. So let’s take a look at the various slaps that have made us laugh over the years.
1. Kabir Singh
Good, good! I shall always despise you, Kabir, for hitting Preeti. Bro, toxic masculinity is your hadd par kardi.

2. Housefull
I still want to play the slap game that Arush, Bob, and Batuk Patel invented with my friends or siblings.
3. Hera Pheri
“Style hai babu bhaiya style,” and then, wham! Raju receives a hard whack to the face. Baburao Ganpatrao Apte is to be thanked. Wow, babu bhaiya, what a style.
4. DDLJ
When Bauji learned that Raj was in love with his daughter Simran, we all loathed him for slapping our beloved SRK. Izzat khatre mein thi, bauji. Those large eyes were genuinely unsettling.

5. Housefull
You may think Arush is a loser, but when he engaged in combat with a monkey to try to recover Sandy’s phone, he completely won my heart. What a funny thappad-fight they got into.
6. Devdas
Hats off to Chandramukhi for defending her dignity in front of everyone; Kali Babu, you deserved this slap.
7. Raanjhanaa
When Kundan was a teenager, he experienced orgasmic pleasure every time his crush, Zoya, hit him. In a scene from Rangbaazi, Kundan teases her and says, “Utna toh hum soch ke aaye the.” He then grooves in joy after a bang. What exactly happened just now?
8. Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham
“Chuupppppp! Badtameez!” (“Baap ko mat sikha”)… Hrithik, you’re the best! what reason? to demonstrate to Yashvardhan Raichand his affection for his eldest son. Raichand, please, senior, SRK ko kaun pyaar nahin karta?
9. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
“You stupid, chalti gaadi se uska phone bahar phek dia!” Arjun was upset about a purana hisaab he had with Imran as well, in addition to the phone. It’s because Arjun’s girlfriend’s involvement “WAS NOT FUNNY”!
10. Khiladi 786
If Paaji Bahattar Singh is not present, Azad kabhi azaad nahin ho paata! In any case, Azad, never antagonises a fly, especially if it has the cheek of a politician.
