New Delhi: The Indian film industry is well represented at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. Sara Ali Khan, Esha Gupta, and Manushi Chhillar were the first three Indian actresses to walk the red carpet on the festival’s first day, May 16. It also happened to be their Cannes premiere.
Sara chose a glittering gown for her new look at Cannes 2023, bringing a traditional touch to the red carpet.

Sara Ali Khan had another dazzling look for another day at Cannes! The actress wore a shimmering bodycon gown and accompanied it with her characteristic shayari. It can be read, “Sorry for the spam Feeling too Glam Seeing this clear water- sara nearly swam But then decided against it- only for my gram fam (sic).”
The entire day on social media, Sara Ali Khan’s touchdown in France was trending. After much anticipation, we finally got to see her walk the red carpet. Sara decided to dress in a regal lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and wear a veil. As she posed for pictures, the actress exuded confidence and posed like a pro.
Manushi Chhillar, the 2017 Miss World, will also make her Cannes debut in 2023. Not only her, but Esha Gupta just made her Cannes debut as part of a team led by Union Minister of State Dr. L. Murugan. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a Cannes veteran, will attend as well, followed by Aditi Rao Hydari.
The film festival will take place in France from May 16 to May 27, 2023.
