Usually, people eat bread. However, today we have brought a special Ragi Recipe for you, which can be taken any time for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It takes you only 20 minutes to prepare the Ragi Uttapam recipe. Let us tell you the recipe for preparing two ragi uttapams.
Ragi Uttapam Recipe: Ingredients
- 1/3 cup ragi flour
- 1/4 cup carrots
- 1 tsp soya leaves
- 1/4 cup tomato
- 1/4 cup onion
- 1 tsp ghee
Recipe
- Take ragi flour on a big plate or dish, mix it with water and make a thick batter. You also have to add a little salt and 1/4 tsp baking powder to it. In this way, a paste of ragi flour will be prepared.
- Now heat the griddle on the gas. With the help of a bowl or a big spoon pour the batter on the pan like a thick dosa and bake till it turns golden on one side. After this, you have to sprinkle finely chopped onions, tomatoes, carrots and soya leaves over the batter. Spread evenly over the dosa from all sides. Cover the top to cook the vegetables.
- Now remove the plate and sprinkle ghee on the vegetables. After this, turn it over to cook on the other side. When it turns golden brown from both sides and appears to be cooked, take it out of the pan. You can serve it hot with coconut or peanut chutney.
