  • 3-4 tbsp ragi flour
  • 1/2 onion, cut into pieces
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • Green coriander to garnish
  • 2 cups water

Recipe

To make Ragi Ambali drink, first roast the ragi flour, when a nice smell starts coming from it, turn off the gas.

Keep in mind that the flour should not burn, otherwise your drink will turn bitter.

Now boil the water, put some salt and asafetida in it. By adding asafoetida, the digestive system remains better.

Now slowly mix the ragi flour in the water and keep stirring so that lumps do not form.
When it becomes a very smooth paste, turn off the gas.

Now add some water to make the curd a little thinner and whisk it well.

Then add curd to the ragi paste, and add chopped onion to it.

Now add green coriander to garnish.

If you want, you can enjoy it by cooling it and if you want, it can also be lukewarm.

It is very good for health and also tasty.

In Karnataka, it is also called Namkeen Daliya.
